Child Safety Standards

Last updated: October 25, 2025

DateFlag AI has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards describe how we define CSAE, what is prohibited on DateFlag AI, and how we respond to and report child safety concerns.

1) Who DateFlag AI Is For

DateFlag AI is designed for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.

  • We do not allow accounts that we believe are being used by or on behalf of anyone under 18.
  • We do not allow adults seeking sexual contact, romantic relationships, or sexually explicit interactions with minors.
  • We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts where we cannot confidently verify age eligibility.

2) Zero Tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

DateFlag AI strictly prohibits any content or behavior that involves or appears to involve the sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of a child. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.

The following are not allowed under any circumstances:

  • Images, videos, audio, or text that depict or describe sexual abuse of a minor or sexual activity with a minor.
  • Sexualized, fetishized, or nude depictions of minors (including cartoons, generated images, or other synthetic content).
  • Grooming, enticement, or any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Requests for, offers of, or instructions on how to obtain CSAM or exploit a child.
  • Sharing personal information of a minor (such as addresses, phone numbers, or social media handles) in a way that could put them at risk.

3) Prohibited Uses of DateFlag AI

You may not use DateFlag AI in any way that creates a risk of harm to children. In addition to the above, this includes:

  • Uploading or analyzing conversations, images, or other content that involve sexual interest in minors or sexual activity with minors.
  • Using DateFlag AI to identify, contact, or target minors online or offline.
  • Encouraging others to engage in CSAE or to evade law enforcement or reporting obligations.

4) How We Respond to CSAE Concerns

When we become aware of possible CSAE or CSAM, DateFlag AI may take immediate action, including:

  • Removing or disabling access to the reported content where technically possible.
  • Restricting, suspending, or permanently terminating involved accounts, devices, or other identifiers.
  • Preserving relevant data and logs for a limited period to support investigations and legal obligations.
  • Reporting apparent CSAM or CSAE to appropriate law enforcement or child protection authorities, and to required hotlines or organizations where applicable (for example, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the United States).

5) How to Report Child Safety Concerns

If you see any content or behavior on DateFlag AI that may involve the sexual exploitation of a child, report it as soon as possible.

  • In-app reporting: Use the in-app reporting tools (for example, the report or block options associated with a conversation or profile) to flag concerning content directly to our team.
  • Email: Contact us at support@dateflag.app with "Child Safety" in the subject line and include as much detail as you can safely provide (such as usernames, approximate dates, and screenshots where permissible).

Do not share or forward suspected CSAM to us or to others. If you have access to CSAM, follow the instructions of your local law enforcement or child protection hotline on how to report it safely.

6) Immediate Danger and External Reporting

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law enforcement right away before using any in-app or email reporting tools.

Where available in your country or region, you can also report online child sexual exploitation directly to government agencies or child protection hotlines.

7) Data Privacy and Child Safety

We handle child safety reports in line with our Privacy Policy. To comply with legal obligations and support investigations, we may preserve limited account and technical information related to a child safety report even if an account deletion request is made.

8) Updates to These Standards

We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or industry guidance on CSAE prevention. We will post updates on this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or by email.
